The historic Minaei house remembered its name from last inhabitants; Farhad Minaei bought this house in 1966 and lived in it with his family until the end of his life. The house with full of story, countless laughs and sorrows is located in Tehran, Vali-e-Asr Street, above Moniriyeh Square. Minaei house was registered as a national work on June 25, 2007 and then purchased by the municipality from the heirs. On October 7, 2019, Minaei House was opened as a museum on Valiasr Street.

Galobandak underpass project is one of the leading projects in the 12th district. After completion and operation of the project, the western side of 15 Khordad Street has been connected to eastern side from under Khayyam Street. It not only facilitate pedestrian traffic, but also provides easy access to the metro station on the west side of the bazaar. So far, about 60 percent of the project's operations have been completed, and hard work sections, such as drilling most of the tunnels, has been completed. The activities have been carried out under the management of the Technical and Civil Engineering Deputy of the Municipality of District 12. In addition, the continuation of the executive operations has been entrusted to the Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization of Tehran. The remaining structural measures include the eastern entrance excavation, the final stages of connection to the metro station, joinery and additional repairs.

Punak neighborhood is located in the northwest of Tehran in which most of the area is located in District 5. Punak village is one of the old villages of Tehran and there are two narrations for naming it. The first narration is: there were abundance of mint flowers in this area. That is why it is called Punak neighborhood or Pooneh flower neighborhood.
The secound version is: the existence if a village called “poinak” in this area which later changed its pronunciation slightly, but the word itself has not completely disappeared.
