Globandak underpass Jul 4, 2020 Galobandak underpass project is one of the leading projects in the 12th district. After completion and operation of the project, the western side of 15 Khordad Street has been connected to eastern side from under Khayyam Street. Therefore, the problem of pedestrian and ridding traffic interference of Khayam Street and Galobandak Crossroads will resolve. The Globandak Underpass is actually an urban pedestrian underpass. It not only facilitate pedestrian traffic, but also provides easy access to the metro station on the west side of the bazaar. So far, about 60 percent of the project's operations have been completed, and hard work sections, such as drilling most of the tunnels, has been completed. The activities have been carried out under the management of the Technical and Civil Engineering Deputy of the Municipality of District 12. In addition, the continuation of the executive operations has been entrusted to the Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization of Tehran. The remaining structural measures include the eastern entrance excavation, the final stages of connection to the metro station, joinery and additional repairs.
